Professional Equipment for Water Treatment

Rectifier System

The De Nora ozone generator is equipped with a sophisticated power supply unit (PSU) rectifier system, meticulously mounted on a painted carbon steel chassis. This robust design houses essential electrical switching equipment, ensuring reliable operation in industrial environments.
The system operates on a supply voltage of 415 V ± 6, utilizing a three-phase configuration at a frequency of 50 Hz ± 3. With a total power consumption of 64.06 kWh, this generator is capable of producing high-purity ozone efficiently for various applications.

The energy conversion process within the PSU involves transforming the three-phase network voltage into a single-phase output with an adjustable working frequency. This is achieved through standard parallel-connected air-cooled inverters, which are enhanced with proprietary De Nora firmware.
The output from these inverters is directed to an integrated step-up transformer, which elevates the voltage as required for optimal ozone generation. Power regulation is accomplished via pulse-width modulation (PWM), allowing precise control over the inverter's output voltage.
Magnetic components within the system ensure balanced loading and provide filtered signals for the parallel operation of the inverters

To facilitate energy transfer, a medium-voltage cable runs from the transformer to the ozone generator container. The cabinets housing this equipment are designed with mechanical protection rated at IP 54, safeguarding against dust and water ingress. Cooling is managed by a 7 kW air conditioning unit, maintaining optimal operating conditions for the sensitive electronic components.
Automated control of the system is managed by a Siemens S7 series PLC, utilizing an ETHERNET communication network for seamless operation. Remote setpoints are input via an analog signal (AI 4–20 mA), while commands for remote start/stop are received through digital inputs (DI).
System status information, including general alerts, safety circuit disconnections, emergency stop functions, and normal operation indicators, is communicated through isolated digital output contacts (DO).
