Atlas Copco refrigerated air dryers are designed to remove moisture from compressed air by cooling the air and condensing the water vapor. This process ensures dry, high-quality air that helps prevent corrosion, equipment damage, and downtime in industrial systems.

How Refrigerated Dryers Work

Compressed air enters the dryer hot and humid.

Cooling stage: air is cooled to near freezing, condensing moisture.

Moisture separation: condensed water is removed.
Re-heating stage (optional): air may be warmed slightly to prevent pipe sweating.
Dry air exits ready for use in the compressed air network.
